June 15, 2012These GOV projects are open for all to bid on, there are often 30+ people/firms on the list of vendors, and in the end, the award goes to the lowest bid. There’s no correlation to talent in my opinion. Once you do get an award, you have bid so low, you can’t spend any time on it to be profitable! Not the best system for sure. I’ve stopped working for the GOV because of this.
